Cubism

One of the artist of cubism that I admire is Pablo Picasso, because I like to do self portraits sometimes. The way he makes his self portraits come to life in his paintings is great, and if you like self portraits then you should check out his work and become inspired to do some of your own.

My five themes are

Throughout all of my five themes it is all located in one area, but I am doing different things in this one area. In this one I am focused on playing a video game.

In this photo I am concentrating on my studies, or just reading a book.

In this photo I am doing a typical work out to stay in shape.

In this photo I am giving myself motivation as I am watching myself work out.

In this photo I am watching myself play the video game, and I have a reaction towards the game in shock.

sketches- I am not good at drawing but I did try.

the start of my work

At the start of my project I wanted to see where I wanted to put these pictures at first. I cut out the other pictures that had me by using the polygon lasso.

In this picture I got all the pics of me in their proper setting and now going to make it cubist.

In this photo I took the polygon tool to create shapes around the room and make them stand out into cubism. In each different shape I did different things. In some of them I dropped the shadow, put an outer glow and inner glow, I used the bend and contour. Even with the people within the photo I dropped the shadow on them, and even add a glow towards some of them. I also expanded the photo on its right side by using the canvas size, and then I used the clone tool to move everything over a little bit. I also noticed that when I did that things looked a little cubist.

the final

In this final piece I changed the levels to bring out the brightness of the colors, and I changed the glow on the guy that is sitting on the ball. I made his glow look like electricity is coming off him.
